While the name of Q & Company is new, our Team's experience in Southwest Missouri is well established. In fact, the leadership and staff of Q & Company have constructed over $400,000,000 of projects in and around Springfield, Missouri in the last 18 years. Q & Company was formed in 2010 by Rick Quint to continue the tradition he started in 1992, constructing quality projects with quality people.

Rick constructed his first project in Southwest Missouri in 1992 (The Grand Village Shoppes) for the Hershend family, Owners of Silver Dollar City Corporation. Upon completion of that project he decided to move to the Ozarks and team up with the hard working and honest people that call the Ozarks home. In 1994 he opened a single room office for Walton Construction in downtown Springfield, Missouri. The first project (Dixie Stampede Dinner Theater) was once again for the Hershend family. The relationships and teamwork forged in these first two projects fueled the growth of Walton Construction into the largest General Contractor in Southwest Missouri in 2008, and stimulated the growth of a large number of construction professionals both inside and outside the company.

A struggling economy and various management issues in other areas of the country forced Walton Construction to sell off its assets in 2010 and cease operations in Southwest Missouri. After 18 successful years in Southwest Missouri, Rick (President of Walton Construction) and many of the staff of Walton Construction decided to move in other directions and Q & Company was born.

The core value of our company is QUALITY. “Quality people and quality projects” is our motto, and our motto is based upon our belief and experience that if you assemble the right Team of Owners, Architects and Constructors you can create quality projects. Over the past 18 years our staff has invested countless hours in the development of training and educational programs in Southwest Missouri in order to develop the best professional constructors in the area. Our goal at Q & Company is to continue this process of developing, training and empowering people within the construction industry to construct quality projects.

The project portfolio of our staff includes many high profile, publicly funded and private development projects. A sampling of these projects include the Springfield/Branson National Airport Terminals (both new and old), JP Morgan Chase Call Center, Evangel University (5 projects), Bass Pro Shops at Branson Landing, The Shoppes at Branson Hills, Jordan Valley Expo and Convention Center, Jordan Valley Ice Park, Dixie Stampede Dinner Theater, Red and Gold Heritage Hall at Silver Dollar City, Taney County Justice Center, James River Assembly of God and over fourteen industrial/manufacturing projects totaling over 1,500,000 square feet for Owners such as John Deere, NorthStar Battery and Cintas Corporation.
